Chief Instructor
Mrs. Christina Schwartz is the chief martial arts instructor at Lago Vista ATA. She started Lago Vista ATA Black Belt Academy in 2000 and is the school’s owner and chief instructor. Taekwondo martial arts is her passion.
Mrs. Schwartz started her training in 1998 under 4th Degree Black belt Mr. Kent Schulz-Behrend in Leander. She currently trains under 7th Degree Black belt Master Michael Niblock in Round Rock.
Her credentials include:
- Current rank: 6th Degree Master Instructor.
- Certified instructor in ATA Taekwondo martial arts.
- Regional tournament judge.
- 2023 District Champion – Combat and Sparring
- 2023 State Champion – Combat and Sparring
- 2023 World Champion Qualifier 4th – Sparring
- 2008 ATA World Sparring champion in her rank and age group.
- 2005 ATA World Sparring champion in her rank and age group.
- 3rd Place in 2005 World Weapons in her rank and age group.
- 2005 Texas State Sparring champion in her rank and age group.
- 2005 Texas State Weapons champion in her rank and age group.
- 2002 Texas Sparring champion in her rank and age group.
Mrs. Schwartz’s dream has been to help others help themselves. She encourages all her students to believe in themselves and follow their dreams. She sets the example by following her own dream at the ATA martial arts school and in her everyday life.

Lago Vista ATA makes use of assistant instructors from time to time, and as our needs require. These instructors are all Black Belts.
